Evan and I met in Williamsburg VA at an English country dancing retreat and got married two years later when I moved down to Florida to teach ballroom dancing at Fred Astaire Studio in Tallahassee where Evan was already working.

Our ballroom plans were cut short in 2020 with the pandemic so we switched gears to starting our own businesses; Evan in the tree care industry and I in the historical costuming space.

We also started an English country dancing group called Sycamore Assembly English that meets twice a month at Goodwood Museum and Gardens.

After three years of holding social dances and a yearly Christmas costume ball we decided that it was time to expand into teaching dance to a wider community including in schools, churches, weddings, and other community events.
